The Comptroller of Puerto Rico issued a favorable opinion of the fiscal operations of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. The tests performed and the evidence obtained revealed that the operations were carried out in accordance with the applicable law and regulations.
The audit aimed to examine the operations related to the collections from slot machines and the distribution of the collections of the Games of Chance Division. Based on the work performed, no significant deficiencies were identified, and therefore the Report contains no findings.
As of June 30, 2019, the Company had 4,982 slot machines distributed across 16 casinos on the Island. For fiscal years 2015 through 2019, the Company generated revenues of $1.2 million and incurred $1.1 million in expenses.
The Report covers the period from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2019 .
