The Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico issued a favorable opinion on the fiscal operations of the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority. The tests performed and the evidence obtained revealed that the operations were carried out in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
The purpose of the compliance audit was to verify whether the processes and controls of the fuel purchases by means of debit cards and the dispensing of fuel were carried out in accordance with applicable law and regulations. Based on the work performed, no significant deficiencies were identified, for which reason the Report contains no findings.
This second report of the AAA covers the period from July 1, 2015 to April 30, 2019.
