The Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico issued a favorable opinion on the fiscal operations of the Aguadilla Driver Services Center (CESCO) of the Driver Services Directorate of the Department of Transportation and Public Works. The tests performed and the evidence in our possession revealed that the operations of the Aguadilla CESCO that are the subject of this report were carried out in accordance with the applicable law and regulations.
The Aguadilla CESCO provides the services of issuing and registering permits for motor vehicles, drivers' licenses, grants vehicle title certificates, and issues special license plates, among other services. Our auditors evaluated the inventory, custody, and dispatch processes of valuables, and examined the files of the inspection stations and the canceled liens.
This center serves the citizens of Aguada, Aguadilla, Isabela, Moca, Rincón, and San Sebastián. The report covers the period from January 1, 2014, to June 30, 2018.
