The Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico issued a favorable opinion on the fiscal operations of the Aguadilla Judicial Region related to the collections and disbursements of the accounts of the regional clerk and the regional marshal. The tests performed and the evidence in the possession of the Office of the Comptroller revealed that the operations were carried out in all significant respects in accordance with the applicable law and regulations.
The Aguadilla Judicial Region is one of the 13 regions established by Act 201-2003, the Judiciary Act of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Each judicial region is composed of the courts of first instance and an operational and administrative area. The municipalities of Aguada, Aguadilla, Isabela, Moca, Rincón, and San Sebastián form part of the Aguadilla Judicial Region.
