The Comptroller of Puerto Rico issued a favorable opinion of the fiscal operations of the Aibonito Judicial Region of the General Court of Justice. The tests performed and the evidence held by the Office of the Comptroller revealed that the operations of the Judicial Region were carried out, in all significant aspects, in accordance with the applicable law and regulations.
The audit had the specific objective of examining the collections and disbursements of the accounts of the regional secretary and marshal, and of the secretaries and marshals of the courts of first instance of Orocovis, Coamo, and Comerío. From the examination performed, no significant deficiencies were identified, and therefore the Report contains no findings.
The Aibonito Judicial Region has the Courts of First Instance of Coamo, Comerío, and Orocovis, and the Municipal Court of Barranquitas.
The Report covers the period from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2018.
