The Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico issued a favorable opinion on the fiscal operations of the Bayamón Judicial Region related to the collections and disbursements of the accounts of the secretaries and marshals. The tests performed and the evidence held by the Office of the Comptroller revealed that the operations were carried out, in all significant aspects, in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
The Bayamón Judicial Region is one of the 13 regions established by Act-201-2003, Judiciary Act of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Each judicial region is composed of the courts of first instance and an operational and administrative area. The municipalities of Cataño, Corozal, Dorado, Guaynabo, Naranjito, Toa Alta, Toa Baja, Vega Baja and Vega Alta are part of the Bayamón Judicial Region.
