The Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico issued a favorable opinion of the fiscal operations of the Utuado Judicial Region of the General Court of Justice. The audit had as specific objectives to determine whether the collections and disbursements of the accounts, as well as the management of the savings accounts of minors and incapacitated persons, were carried out in accordance with current regulations.
The tests performed and the evidence in the possession of the Office of the Comptroller revealed that the fiscal operations covered by this Report were carried out, in all significant aspects, in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
The Utuado Judicial Region was established through the Administrative Order of June 5, 1981 to provide services to the municipalities of Adjuntas, Utuado, Jayuya and Lares. From July 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021, the estimated budget distribution for the Judicial Region was $25,239,500.
This report covers the period from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021.
