The Comptroller of Puerto Rico issued a favorable opinion on the operations of the Office of Technology and Informatics (OTI) of the Senate. The tests performed and the evidence revealed that the operations of the OTI were carried out, in all significant aspects, in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations, and that the controls were effective.
In the audit, the internal controls and their effectiveness for controlling access to the information systems were examined, in accordance with Regulation Num. 13, Regulation of the Office of Technology and Informatics of the Senate of 2010, and with the Standards and Procedures for the Control of Physical and Logical Accesses to Information Systems of 2020. The Senate's budget from 2019 to 2021 was $32,240,000, $27,347,500, and $24,901,000, respectively.
