San Juan, Puerto Rico – The Comptroller of Puerto Rico, Attorney Carmen Vega Fournier, CPA, announced the appointment of CPA and attorney Saudhi Soto Pagán as the new Deputy Comptroller of Puerto Rico, contributing her vast experience in audits, regulatory compliance, tax processes and law.
Soto Pagán is a licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 35 years of experience in tax, corporate and administrative law. She has led tax planning processes, financial consulting and legal representation before state and federal government agencies, as well as audits and Single Audits, contributing to the improvement of internal controls and strengthening transparency in public and municipal entities.
“The new Deputy Comptroller has the expertise and the commitment to achieve and maintain that our audits impact the People in transparency and accountability,” said Vega Fournier, reaffirming her commitment to the responsible oversight of public property and funds.
