As part of the efforts of collaboration and exchange of best practices in auditing, oversight and anti-corruption, the Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico (OCPR) received on January 25 and 26 the visit of several officials from the Court of Accounts of the Republic of El Salvador, prosecutors from the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of El Salvador and representatives of the Federal Department of Justice in El Salvador.
The officials exchanged information, experiences and best practices with the specialists of the OCPR's Forensic Audit Division.
These meetings were also attended by the U.S. Department of Justice in Puerto Rico, the Office of the Inspector General of Puerto Rico, the Office of the Commissioner of Financial Institutions and the Independent Special Prosecutor's Panel.
