The Comptroller of Puerto Rico, Yesmín M. Yaldivieso, extended the deadline to March 31 for the civil society organizations of Puerto Rico that serve women victims of violence to complete the Questionnaire on the services they provide to these women and the impact they have on this population.
“We want to know whether the funds for these organizations are arriving, and their effectiveness. We are interested in knowing the services that civil society organizations provide on behalf of women victims of violence in our country and the impact they have on this population”, stated the Comptroller.
The questionnaire is part of the work of the Coordinated Audit on Gender Violence, in which the Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico (OCPR) participates together with the Working Group on Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination of the Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS). This coordinated audit aims to evaluate the efficiency of governmental actions, whether plans or programs, toward eradicating violence against women, and its work will be framed during the 2019-2021 period.
