Oversight

We oversee transactions of public property and funds related to the provision of primary, secondary and postsecondary education services; and the training of public officials and employees. We focus on the Commonwealth's responsibilities to provide and facilitate quality education to citizens; and to ensure the services the Government provides are of quality. Accordingly, it addresses topics such as the functioning of the education system; student transportation and meals; the conditions of school and university campuses; the role and compliance of the entities responsible for training Government employees; and the use of fiscal and technological resources allocated for these purposes, among others. All in the context of how they contribute to citizens' education and to the training of Government officials and employees.
