Auditor's Week and Day

From September 12 to 18 and September 17, 2021

I congratulate all my auditors, the backbone of the Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico,
on the week and day we celebrate such a worthy profession.

You contribute to fulfilling the constitutional mission
of overseeing the transactions of public property and funds.
You possess a wealth of knowledge and experience of incomparable professionalism.
With your work you give certainty and confidence to citizens,
while at the same time strengthening public administration.

In recent times, you have grown in the exercise
of the best practices of the profession
in the face of the challenges of applying new provisions of law and regulation,
new technological work tools or,
overcoming the adverse circumstances related to the pandemic.

I am proud of you!

It is also worth mentioning the internal auditors who,
with their work that is honest, objective, and competent, honor the profession.

I thank each of you for your commitment to the Office of the Comptroller!
