Dear fathers of the Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico!

Today is a day to honor the paternal figure of the home and show him all our affection and respect. A good father protects, educates, and devotes himself to his children and his family…

and would reach the sky for his loved ones.

When we remember our old man, we recall with nostalgia his walk, his speech… his example and affection.

As children, dad was our hero, and over time, our friend and mentor in life.

Let us give thanks for the fathers who are still with us, and let us think of those who have gone forever… and how much we miss them.

Sunday, Father's Day, is a good time to give a heartfelt hug,

to all the relatives and friends who are fathers,

and a good occasion to give them a gesture of esteem and love.

To you, father who works at the Office of the Comptroller, and to the fathers of all the staff,
