The Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico congratulates and thanks during its week all members of the press and the journalists who practice such a noble trade.
Our Office joins the ideals that drive them, in communicating complete, balanced, objective, and honest information that contributes to the respect and democratic conscience of citizens.
The Office of the Comptroller generates a great deal of information of journalistic interest.
The examination of the use of public funds and property of all Government entities generates content that we make available in audit reports and special reports.
In addition, we administer the Contract Registry, which is the most important government transparency tool that the Government of Puerto Rico has.
Technology has revolutionized the way information is transmitted, but good content never goes out of style.
