Public Servant Week

August 17-23, 2025

Public service is one of the most noble work responsibilities

because it is born of the will to serve the general interest of citizens well.

Working in government commits our entire being; it is giving our best,

striving to the utmost to carry out the entrusted function, acting with honesty and promoting solutions based on respect.

In addition, as public servants we must be courteous,

have empathy for the people we serve, and act with transparency in decision-making.

These values of the Office of the Comptroller mark the path that elevates our daily desire to do good

through our work and to fully comply with the ethics of public service.

I want to highlight that at the Office we have honest, upright and efficient public servants,

whose vocation is to put their knowledge and experience into overseeing the transactions of the public treasury

and to promote the good use of public resources.

I feel deeply proud to work alongside you,

who embody the highest principles in fulfilling the mission of the Office of the Comptroller.
