In times of crisis or emergency, situations of lack of control arise that facilitate/foster the commission of fraud or irregularities. At the Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico we are vigilant and we ask public servants and citizens that, if they know of any misuse of public property and funds, they file a complaint with our Office https://www.ocpr.gov.pr/querellese/

Some situations that warrant filing a complaint:

• Misappropriation or embezzlement of public funds or property.
• Illegal purchases of materials or equipment.
• Irregularities in bids.
• Improper intervention in purchasing processes.
• Contracts that are onerous to the treasury or that were not granted in accordance with laws and regulations.
